Ulwe has been designed
as a node, to serve a population of around 370,000. Ulwe is
one of the five nodes along which the polycentric CBD of Navi
Mumbai will be spread. It is very close to the already
developed CBD Belapur, the proposed water transport terminal,
and the domestic airport. It will have it's own railway
station and be served by two of Navi Mumbai's commuter rail
corridors.
Accessiblity: Ulwe is
linked with the following places:
• Road - Access from
Mumbai Pune Expressway and NH 4B
• Railway - 5 kms. from
Belapur Station & adjacent to the proposed railway
station.
• Waterway - 5 kms. from Hovercraft terminus at
CBD Belapur.
• Air - 10 kms. from proposed Domestic
Airport
